Pruning, it is one task in the garden which can be overwhelming. Whether it be light or full on renovation pruning different plants have different requirements.
Plant knowledge is required so that plants are pruned at the correct time of year and with the correct amount of vigour. Some plants respond well to pruning whilst others need to be handled more gently. Incorrect pruning can result in loss of flowers, misshapen shrubs and in some cases can kill plants entirely.
